Gwen Knox

BEFORE ALL ELSE - Gwen is the mother of three adult sons, Shawn, Brian, and Cardel.  Cardel is a chef at Juban’s Restaurant & Catering, Brian is with Olinde’s Furniture and Shawn is in security in California.

Before coming on board with Commerce Title in 2006, Gwen had some very interesting and challenging jobs:

• Gwen was a 1998 graduate of Bob Brooks School of Real Estate, licensed by Louisiana Real Estate Commission, Member of the National Association of Realtors, and Greater Baton Rouge Associations of Realtor.
• Gwen from 1995- 1998 was the manager of an African American Bookstore & African Art.  The exciting thing about this job was that it gave Gwen the opportunity to travel to Western Africa to make purchases for the store.
• For three years Gwen was the office manager of a local home health agency.
• 1980 – 1990 Gwen was an Allied Health Assistant is East Baton Rouge Parish School System.  She worked all over the parish with Occupational and Physical Therapist’s providing service to special education children in the school system.
• Gwen’s first job was a long distance operator with South Central Bell in 1966 and she resigned in 1977 after the birth of her third son.

Gwen brings her life experiences, philosophy and work ethic to Commerce Title to serve the needs of the Baton Rouge community and its surrounding parishes. She would be honored to consult with you about the many services provided by Commerce Title.  “Gwen Knox and the Door to Service Opens”
